Kickstart Your Learning with Pre-Conference Programming
The conference will launch with pre-conference programming starting on Monday, September 23. Attendees can participate in a variety of sessions, including:
- Pet CPR and First Aid. Led by Beth Bowers of PawZitive Empowerment Academy, this hands-on class will teach you over 50 skills to save pets, including Pet CPR, Rescue Breathing, Restraint & Muzzling for Safety, and much more.
- Heroes for Healthy Pets. This certification program is designed to help veterinary and other pet care businesses stay free of infectious diseases, which affect hundreds of businesses and thousands of pets nationwide each year.
- Construction Playbook for Success. Looking to expand, build, or renovate a pet boarding and daycare facility? You won’t want to miss this session, featuring insights from industry experts in finance, construction, and architecture!
- Human/Infant CPR & AED Training. Led by Ben Day, IBPSA’s Risk Management & Safety Manager, this class is a combined CPR, AED, and First Aid training program designed to provide information and skills to respond and care for medical emergencies at work and at home.
- Emergency Preparedness Plan Workshop. Also led by Ben Day, this workshop will teach you how to set up an Emergency Preparedness Plan to be ready for potential severe weather, power outages, fires, toxic chemical release, violence in the workplace, and many other emergency situations.
Inspiring Keynotes to Drive Your Success
The conference will officially launch on Tuesday morning with a keynote session entitled, “Navigating Success with the Power of Knowing Your ‘Why.’” Presented by Dr. Adam Christman, Chief Veterinary Officer of dvm360® and Fetch Conferences, this session will inspire attendees to find and ignite their purpose both in life and business.
The conference will close on Thursday with another keynote by Joe Calamusa, founding partner of the Sales & Leadership Development Group (SLDG). His presentation, “You are Your Hero,” will focus on how making mission-driven decisions shapes our everyday lives and professional paths.
Diverse Sessions for Comprehensive Learning
Throughout the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of sessions covering topics such as leadership, business and staff management, animal care, and more. These sessions are approved for continuing education (CEU) credits by the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC).
